Pese a su inactividad hace más de 4 meses, a causa de un accidente en entrenamiento previo a la primera fecha del Campeonato 2014 donde se rompió 3 ligamentos de la rodilla izquierda, la Poblana Rugerio continúa preparándose mentalmente. Hoy por hoy, se encuentra en espera a que salga de rehabilitación para reanudar sus sueños, volver a la parrilla de salida.
Indiscutiblemente JULIANA RUGERIO es una BELLEZA EXTREMA, caracterizada por una mezcla entre la rudeza dentro de las pistas sobre su máquina de acero y la ternura que emana al convivir con ella. Otra de sus virtudes, la perseverancia que mantiene en todo momento es admirable.
En entrevista con Parquecerrado.com Juliana le hace un gran reconocimiento y agradecimiento a su primo Alex Rugerio #601, actualmente piloto de MX1, y a su coach su tío Alejandro Rugerio por motivarla a iniciarse en este maravilloso deporte “Por sus regaños y exigencias cada día he avanzado más y he mejorado mi técnica de manejo”.
¿Por qué escogiste Motocross?
Decidí practicarlo porque mi primo Alex Rugerio #601 lo practica desde pequeño y yo como niña quise demostrarle que también podía.
¿A qué edad te subiste a una moto?
Fue en Diciembre del 2012, un domingo cuando mi tío Alejandro Rugerio, ahora nuestro coach, me invitó a uno de sus entrenamientos en Libres, Puebla. Me puse el equipo de mi primo y me gustó esa sensación de acelerar. Desde ahí decidí que sería mi estilo de vida.
¿Cuándo fue tú primera carrera y qué lugar obtuviste?
Pista Lomas, Puebla en Enero de 2013, obtuve el 4° Lugar de 4.
¿Cómo te preparas?
Voy al gimnasio de lunes a jueves cada semana; entreno martes, jueves, sábados y domingos. Mentalmente mi coach platica conmigo junto con mis compañeros de equipo, antes y durante los entrenamientos.
¿Qué pista es tú favorita y por qué?
Pista Chipilo, porque es ancha, larga y grande.
¿Cómo te apoya tú familia?
Tengo el apoyo emocional y económico de parte de mis padres y familia.
¿Tienes apoyo por parte de la FMM?
Solamente con la licencia con la cual adquiero un seguro de gastos médicos.
¿Qué le pides a la FMM que aportara a la categoría Femenil en México?
Que no nos mezclen con la categoría de N3 aunque seamos pocos pilotos de ambas categorías.
¿Alguna recomendación que les des a las mujeres que deseen competir?
Que le entren aunque es muy rudo y extremo para una mujer pero así seremos más que conquistaremos este deporte.
¿Qué te da el Cross a tú vida?
Que a pesar de las caídas y las derrotas siempre debemos seguir adelante porque no por ello nos vamos a dejar vencer.
