En una carrera impredecible, Graham Jarvis se llevó la victoria por solo 41 segundos a Jonny Walker con Manuel Lettenbichler que finalizó tercero. Bajo cielos soleados y temperaturas cálidas, la 24ª edición del Erzbergrodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble vio a los 500 pilotos clasificados despegar de la línea de salida a las 14.30.

En total, 23 corredores completaron el Erzbergrodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble de este año dentro del tiempo de carrera asignado de cuatro horas.
Ganador de la segunda ronda de la Serie Super Enduro Mundial, Jarvis también aseguró su cuarta victoria Erzbergrodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble.

Terminando solo 41 segundos atrás, Walker se adjudicó el resultado de subcampeón y, a su vez, tomó el control de la clasificación del campeonato WESS.
Reagrupando después de la castigada sección Green Hell, Lettenbichler pudo cruzar la línea de meta a tres minutos de Jarvis en el tercer lugar, con Young llegando en el cuarto lugar. Bolt completó los cinco primeros.

Con la segunda ronda de la World Superuro Super Series ahora completa, el campeonato cambia de disciplina al Classic Enduro, en Francia, en el Trèfle Lozérien AMV del próximo fin de semana, del 8 al 10 de junio.
El mexicano Didier Goirand se clasificó en el prólogo en el sitio 25, es decir primera fila. Finalizó en el extraordinario sitio 27 en la sección “Dynamite” a solo dos etapas del final. Excelente trabajo Didier.

Jarvis dijo: «Siempre es especial ganar aquí, pero hacerlo como lo hice, esa es una de mis mejores victorias. Tuve un mal comienzo al quedarme atrapado en la primera escalada de la cantera y perdí muchos lugares. Además, con el polvo fue realmente difícil adelantar en las primeras dos secciones. No fue hasta el Checkpoint 15 cuando llegué a la sexta, pero sabía que Carl’s Dinner sería decisiva. Hice un montón de tiempo allí arriba.
