Con el nuevo BMW C evolution, que estará disponible próximamente en dos variantes: de largo alcance y la versión europea compatible con el permiso de conducir A1, BMW Motorrad eleva el estándar en el segmento de los scooters eléctricos a un nuevo nivel. De esta forma, una nueva generación de baterías con una capacidad de 94 Ah (Amperes-hora), tal como se emplea hoy en día en el BMW i3, permite una autonomía significativamente mayor. Además, se incluye de serie un nuevo cable de recarga con un diámetro menor.
Nuevos accesorios especiales, como por ejemplo el soporte para Smartphone, ofrecen además mayores opciones para personalizar el nuevo BMW C evolution.
Con el nuevo BMW C evolution de largo alcance, con una potencia nominal de 26 hp, cuenta con 11 hp más que su predecesor, y la autonomía se pudo incrementar significativamente a aproximadamente 160 kilómetros. La velocidad máxima es de 129 km/h (limitada electrónicamente).
En la versión compatible con el permiso para conducir A1 (sólo en Europa), el BMW C evolution cuenta con una potencia de 15 hp. La autonomía es en este caso de aproximadamente 100 kilómetros y la velocidad máxima es de 120 km/h (limitada electrónicamente).

Por último, y no menos importante, el nuevo BMW C evolution aparece en escena con una refinación visual. Las cubiertas del túnel central de la variante de largo alcance cuentan además con un nuevo diseño gráfico.
