Suzuki Motor Corporation, después de haber revisado sus operaciones, ha decidido centrarse en las funciones principales del negocio y la reestructuración del negocio de motocicletas concluyendo las actividades de MXGP a partir de 2018.
Suzuki continuará produciendo series RM-Z250 y 450 y brindará soporte a esos clientes en todo el mundo.
