350cc 4 tiempos es para muchos la mejor cilindrada para hacer enduro. Pero esto no es nuevo. La TT350 de Yamaha Motor Corp nació en 1986 y estuvo en el mercado hasta 1995.
Motor 4 tiempos, un cilindro, 4 válvulas, enfriado por aire, peso de 130kg., freno delantero de disco y tambor atrás, arranque a patada, suspensión telescópica showa de 41mm y amortiguador «mono-cross», 32 caballos de fuerza, caja con 6 cambios, capacidad de 9.5 litros de combustible y podía alcanzar una velocidad de 129 kilómetros por hora.
Destacaban por sus accesorios de serie como: faro delantero de halógeno de 55w, medidor de recorrido, con la opción de regresarlo, bolsa de herramientas colocada en la salpicadera trasera, handguards sujetados a las bases de las palancas de clutch y freno, protección de las barras de suspensión y pata lateral.
Muy atractiva por su facilidad para hacer enduro y rally, con un estilo cercano a las YZ de Cross, pero enfocada más para el piloto de ocasión que de competencia. Relativamente pocos cambios en los años que estuvo en el mercado, pero siempre buscando reducir el peso, implementando materiales como el aluminio.
Se convirtió en una de las favoritas en México para hacer largas rutas, como «La Ruta de Cortés» en los años 80´s la cual iniciaba en el zócalo de Cholula, Puebla y concluía en el Puerto de Veracruz.
También había la versión XT, que partían de la misma base, pero era doble propósito.
